Package disabler pro allows you the use of only one enable/disable widget, unless I just can't figure it out. So what I would do is use an app called BK Disabler, it was a package disabler that isnt' around anymore, but it had disable/enable widgets. Now, most launchers will run 24/7 in the background after you install them.

I use to be a pack rat though right.like I had 20 different launcher's installed on my phone. In the battery usage section you can limit an app so it doesn't run in the background when you aren't using it. I haven't had a battery drain issue in like.I can't even remember the last time.so I haven't had a reason to use the new Oreo battery life management tools. Most stuff you don't have to disable right.but there's no harm in disabling it either.Ī while back there was an issue with Gear VR running 24/7 on peoples phones and in a few cases the battery got hot enough to melt the damn phone.Īt the time I had Gear VR disabled so I didn't even notice. I also disable weird shit, like the spanish language pack for instance. Shit, I have over 200 package disabled on my Verizon s7.ġst you have useless Verizon apps, Verizon bloatware, Samsung apps I don't want/use, Samsung bloat, packages that people pay Samsung/google to be on the phone, google apps I don't use, then just random shit like hancom office lol. This doesn't have to do with your issue as you've already got a disabler app and figured it out.it's just me ranting lol.ĭisabler apps are a must with any phone these days.
